MX Systems International Limited was formed in 1998 by Peter Young, the founder of Ultraseal Limited and Ultraseal International Limited, and the inventor of PC504, the world's first thermal curing methacrylate impregnation sealant, MX sealant recycling technology and front load impregnation equipment.

History

In 1946 Percy Young started Industrial Impregnations Limited, the first casting impregnation company to be established in the UK. Percy began sealing castings with phenolic resins and later introduced polyester impregnation sealants.

In 1967 Percy's son, Peter Young, started Ultraseal Limited, later to become Ultraseal International Limited. In 1976, Peter developed PC504, the first thermal hot water curing methacrylate impregnation sealant. PC504 was patented around the world and set the standard for modern day impregnation systems. In 1989, Peter developed the MX Recycling System, the first system to recover and recycle sealant from the cold water wash tank of impregnation systems!

In 1998 Peter Young started MX Systems International Limited, and developed the new Auto-Seal system, which eliminates the cold water wash tank and recycles the sealant directly from the hot water cure tank. Auto-Seal outperforms all previous sealants, significantly reduces operating costs and has no trade effluent.

MX Systems is a member of the Norman Hay PLC Group.
